Alpine Baptist Church

Doug Compton graduated from Baptist Bible College of Pennsylvania in 1975. After three years as an assistant pastor in Michigan and fourteen years pastoring in Illinois, he was called to Alpine in June, 1992. Along with his pastoral responsibilities, Pastor Comton serves as the volunteer Baseball Chapel leader to the West Michigan Whitecaps, a minor league affiliate of the Detroit Tigers.  He has served with Baseball Chapel since 1994.  You can learn more about Baseball Chapel at its website:  www.BaseballChapel.org.  Click on his name or picture to contact him.

Scott Florida graduated from Baptist Bible College of Pennsylvania in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science in Bible. After serving for three years as a youth pastor in Owosso, Michigan, Scott and his wife Lori moved to Alpine in 1996 where he serves as Assistant Pastor in Youth and Christian Education.  Scott received his Master of Arts in Ministry Leadership from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary in May 2006.  Click on his name or picture to contact him.

Dennis Muston has served as Minister of Music at Alpine since 1981. He is a Graduate of the former Grand Rapids Baptist College, now Cornerstone University, and Michigan State University. Terry Buschert is our Bus Captian.  The bus ministry is very dear to Terry's heart as that is how he and his family came to know the Lord.  If you would like information on the bus route, click on  Terry's name or picture to contact him.  The bus runs every Sunday morning all year long and Wednesday nights September through March for our AWANA program.
